Our Mission is to offer students the analytical, quantitative, and technological skills necessary to succeed in an increasingly complex and globally-oriented world.  We support this effort through original contributions to our chosen fields and by using our specialized skills to serve the University and the public.

Economics & Decision Sciences offers several majors, along with courses designed to qualify information technology professionals for Microsoft, Cisco, and Novell certification.  In addition, the department provides opportunities for students to receive credit for various industry certifications.  We offer the following degree programs:

The courses in each major have been carefully designed so as to incorporate new knowledge in the various disciplines and to leave students prepared to pursue a wide array of career choices. Our permanent faculty consists of many well-qualified and dedicated teachers and researchers. In addition, the department sponsors an active student chapter for the Association of Information Technology Professionals  (AITP).
