Study Abroad
The College of Business offers the opportunity to travel
abroad to study for a summer, a semester, or a full year.
Through our partnership with the Magellan Exchange Program,
it's possible to study at various locations throughout
Europe. And, participants pay regular ASU tuition fees
without
incurring additional costs!
Studying in another country is challenging, stimulating,
and rewarding. You'll be introduced to political, social,
economic, and cultural traditions different from your own.
With the world becoming a truly global economy, these
experiences are sure to enlighten and prepare you for the
challenges you'll face in the 21st century!

Semester/Year Study Abroad
Each year faculty members lead short-term summer study
with intensive instruction in an international context.
Students may elect an intensive foreign language program
or a program in their particular fields of study in an intercultural
context. Courses offered include art, art history, Spanish,
French, business, marketing, urban planning, anthropology
and can take place in countries as diverse as Italy, Mexico,
Spain, Peru, Germany and France.
The
International Business Studies program
includes:
- Faculty Led Study Tours
abroad to expose students to industry in other nations,
as well as, the cultural differences. Past tours have
included continental Europe, Scandinavia, and Central
America. Participants receive three hours credit and are
required to complete academic assignments.
- Study Abroad
opportunities via exchanges with major schools of
business around the world. Recent student exchanges
involve schools in Finland, Germany, Belgium, the
Netherlands, France, and Cypress. Coursework undertaken
abroad is transferred back to ASU.
- Internships in
International Business Studies
provide students an opportunity to gain actual work
experience in an international department of a
multinational corporation, a foreign consulate, the US
State Department, or an actual assignment working for a
company in a foreign country. Students often receive ASU
college credit for these internships.
