Registration Policies

ADVANCED REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED FOR ALL WORKSHOPS

Register On-line

To register for one of our workshops, click on the link above and complete our On-line Registration Form. Please send payment via mail. If you prefer, you may register by phone (870) 972-3517 or fax (870) 972-3678.

Registration and Fees: Seminar fees may be paid by check, money order or credit card. Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class. Fees should be remitted no later than 48 hours prior to the seminar date. To pay by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express) call ASU - SBDC at (870) 972-3517. Make checks payable to ASU SBDC and mail to P.O. Box 2650, State University, AR 72467 or deliver to Room 117A in the ASU College of Business.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 48 hours prior to the seminar. If the SBDC cancels a seminar, all fees will be refunded. Substitutes are welcomed.

Inclement Weather: Seminars will not be held if ASU is closed due to inclement weather. Check your local television or radio stations for school closings.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone requesting accommodations due to a disability should contact the ASU Small Business Development Center at (870) 972-3517. Advance notice may be necessary for some accommodations. Request for interpreters should be made at least two weeks prior to the event to ensure interpreters are still available. Registration fees must be paid before requesting accommodations.

FREE AND DISCOUNTED FEES

**QuickBooks Pro classes: Discounts are limited to $5 for ASU faculty, staff, and students. All spouses attending the QuickBooks Pro classes must pay full registration.**

1. Any Arkansas State University faculty or staff will receive a $5 discount off of the workshop registration fee.

2. Any student who works for the ASU SBDC via Graduate Assistantship, Independent Study, or Work Study, can attend any SBDC workshop free of charge, on a space available basis.

3. Any student of the ASU College of Business can attend any SBDC workshop for a ½ price fee, on a space available basis.

4. Any full-time employee of the SBDC can attend any SBDC training program free of charge, on a space available basis.

5. The spouse of a workshop attendee may also attend the workshop at no charge, provided materials are shared, on a space available basis.

6. Employees of the workshop co-sponsors may attend any SBDC at no charge, on a space available basis.

7. The Training Coordinator or Center Director must approve any and all other discounted or free seminar training fees. The Training Coordinator or Center Director may modify these guidelines as necessary.

8. A person who is unable to attend the workshop may purchase the workshop materials for a $5 discount off of the registration fee.
