The
ASU College of Business has a substantial and broadening
relationship with our local community. Both sides benefit
from this relationship. The community sends us students
with the education they need to be prepared for the university
experience; we send graduates back out into the community
with new skills and opportunities. We provide consulting,
scholarly reports on commercial prospects and demographic
data, and other services to small or emerging businesses;
the business community provides financial support to the
college and opportunities for our students to participate
in internships. Most
of our small business services are offered through the
Delta
Center for Economic Development and the
Small
Business Development Center.
Some
professional training is available without formal admission
to the university. Of particular interest are our
computer
classes which teach how to use common Microsoft software
(such as Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) in the
workplace. Companies seeking a venue for private seminars
may find our training
and incubator facilities helpful.
