BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM
About the Business Administration Curriculum

  • Business Administration is every aspect of business, across the five functional areas and from the bottom to the top of the organization.
  • More ASU students major in Business Administration than in any other business major.
  • The Business Administration curriculum is one that provides students with a diversified rather than a specialized program in business and economics. Essentially, it is an undergraduate version of the MBA program.
  • It is designed especially for those who need a broad background of training for managing businesses of their own or for students planning to enter large businesses which maintain their own specialized training programs.
  • This curriculum involves the study of every major sector of business activity, with emphasis on creative thinking which will prepare the student for today's employment as well as for meeting tomorrow's challenges.
  • For students majoring fields outside the College of Business, a minor in General Business is available
  • The Business Administration program is administered in the College of Business by the Department of Economics & Decision Sciences.
