Certification demonstrates proficiency in
your career area. Employers prefer to hire and retain those
who achieve and maintain their designation. Numerous certifications
are available in finance. Arkansas State University is one
of approximately 35 colleges and universities offering the
Professional Studies Program (PFS) in partnership with the
Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). The PFS program
allows students to sit for the Certified Cash Manager (CCM)
Examination before obtaining the two years of experience
that is usually required before sitting for the exam. ASU
was one of the first schools to partner with AFP in the
development of this program, and is considered a leader
in treasury management education.
