Bachelor of Science in Education, Business Technology (BSE)

Business Technology is a program of study designed to prepare individuals for teaching careers in the area of business and information technology.  This degree is the foundation for those wishing to teach at the middle or junior high school level,  secondary level, post-secondary level, or in industry.  Emphasis is given, through the College of Education, to the ways in which this material can be most effectively imparted.  For satisfactory completion of this degree program, the  student must fulfill all applicable requirements as established by the University, the College of Business, the College of Education, and the CIT department.  Vocational and Computer certifications are available.  The department is approved by the State of Arkansas for teacher training, and graduates from this program are qualified to teach vocational business technology education at the secondary and post-secondary levels.

Please take a look at our BTech brochure for additional info and, if you have questions, Professor Ralph Ruby will be eager to assist you.
