Bruce Burrow. Bruce
Burrow has over 40 years experience in the commercial real
estate business. He is partner of the Jonesboro-based firm
MBC-Holdings, LLC (formerly Belz-Burrow Development Group),
one of the region's largest commercial property developers
specializing in shopping centers and hotel properties. Mr.
Burrow is the President of Realty Associates Development
Group; Chairman of Burrow-Halsey Realty Group, Inc.; Board
Member of First Community Bank; Craighead County Jail; Jonesboro
Unlimited; and Cardiology Associates Foundation. Mr Burrow
is the Governor appointed Commisioner to Arkansas Department
of Economic Development. Some of his numerous developments
include The Mall at Turtle Creek, Jonesboro; Peabody Hotel,
Little Rock; and the Little Rock Hilton.
Ben
E. Owens. Ben Owen has over 48 years experience
in the healthcare management field. He is President and
CEO of St. Bernard's Healthcare which is the largest employer
in Craighead County with approximately 2,400 employees.
Mr. Owens has been a member of more than 30 community, state
and professional organizations, including the Arkansas Hospital
Association, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield, The American
College of Hospital Administrators, the Statewide Health
Coordinating Council, Advisory Board-Area Health Education
Center NE Arkansas, and numerous other entities. He also
served as President of the Greater Jonesboro Area Chamber
of Commerce from 1983-1985. Mr. Owens holds two honorary
doctorates - one from Arkansas State University and the
other from Lyon College in Batesville. Mr. Owens has received
many awards over the years including - the Distinguished
Service Award - Batesville Jaycees, Boss of the Year - Jonesboro
Jaycees, A. Allen Weintraub Outstanding Hospital Administrator
of the Year, and many more.
